Northside High School Students Worked on Explosive Ordnance Disposal Exhibit at Museum of Aviation
Three Northside High School seniors were recognized May 11 for curating an exhibit on Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) at the Museum of Aviation. The students worked at the museum for their Humanities course PIE (Professional Interest Exploration) program.

Wesley Paskett, Jaikel “Jay” Robinson, and Keynan Callum come to the museum for about one and a half hours a day, two days a week. When the exhibit opened on Friday May 11, the three student curators were joined by approximately 100 of their classmates as well as representatives from the Museum of Aviation, the 116th Air Control Wing, Northside High School, and the Houston County Board of Education.

The exhibit fills a large case on the second floor of the Eagle Building near the elevator and includes an 800-pound robot, a bomb suit, uniforms worn by members of the 116th Air Control Wing’s EOD Flight, and munitions training aids.
